About Me

As a child, I was always drawn to different forms of art. My passion for visual art developed when I got opportunities to learn from different artists in Bangalore and abroad through online study. I started visual art as a hobby in 2008, but since 2015 I've secured a strong fundamental grasp of visual art through different art courses from various artists and through my keen interest and practice.

I learned different media used in art such as graphite, charcoal, color pencils, pastels, acrylic, oil, and watercolor; and continue to study, practice, and explore with them.

I am close to nature and I try to reflect that in my paintings. I love the drama of light and shade. Contrast in all kind catches my attention and try giving expression to my thoughts in the form of art.

Nature, still-life, human portraits are a few of my favorite subjects.

Currently, I am exploring different media and subjects, and accept commission work. I also teach art fundamentals to children and adults. I believe that a seeking mind, sincere effort, and a keen interest in art can help anyone get a strong foundation in the field.
